Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms were bright, very clean, and recently refurbished, which made my stay very comfortable. I enjoyed some lovely wine & cheese in the afternoon and even made new friends. The location was excellent, close to many bars and restaurants, and the hotel offered a good position, although there was a steep hill from Union Square. The dining experience was simple but adequate, with pastries and fruit, yet lacking in protein options.
I stayed in a Junior suite at the back of the property from the early 80's. The hotel is nice and walkable to cool Bart, making it accessible to everything. The service was good, but there was a slight hiccup with another guest wanting us to move our car. The location is fantastic, with a 5-minute walk to Union Square for shopping, though it can get crowded in the morning. The dining experience was okay but could use separate dining areas with proper crockery.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant with clean, comfortable rooms and excellent staff. The location was great, close to Union Square and Nob Hill, although the area bordered on sketchy. The dining options were limited but the afternoon continental offerings were good. Overall, a good value for the money.
The hotel offers an excellent location close to Union Square, with friendly staff and enjoyable wine and cheese gatherings. Although the morning crowds could be a hassle, the evening atmosphere is great. The dining experience with wine and cheese is a nice touch, but the lobby could use better pest control for flies around the fruit bowl.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with a nice kitchen, clean and reasonably priced snacks and drinks. The rear location ensures a peaceful stay with pleasant views, though some noise from the street can be heard at times.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were spacious, modern, and incredibly clean, making it a comfortable retreat for my trip to San Francisco. The location is unbeatable, being right by Union Square and surrounded by great dining options and attractions. The service was outstanding, with the staff going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. However, the dining experience was a bit lackluster, but with so many nearby eateries, it wasn't a major issue.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were stylish, spacious, and had a big bathroom with plenty of storage space. The small fully equipped kitchen was a bonus. The service was friendly and helpful, though it could use a bit of polish. The location was amazing, only 3 blocks away from Union Square. The dining experience wasn't the best, but the facilities were good overall.
My stay at the hotel was lovely. The room had a charming old-world feel, clean, and very comfortable, equipped with all the essentials like plentiful towels, a comfy bed, coffee pod machine, microwave, and a nicely stocked bar fridge. However, the noise from the busy street outside made it a bit challenging to sleep at night.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were sub-standard, reminding me of a dated studio apartment from the early '80s, but they were just the right size and were comped for us. The service, however, was exceptional with friendly and helpful staff offering tours and places to eat. The location was convenient for exploring the town, although being too close to the tenderloin area was a bit concerning. The dining options were basic but sufficient, with a lovely afternoon cheese and wine offering.
The Beresford Arms & Suites was a cozy stay with clean and comfortable rooms, a welcoming staff, and a great central location, although a bit dated. The dining options were a bit limited but satisfactory for a quick bite. Overall, a decent choice for a pleasant stay in the city.
